Il y aura 18 kits et je commence la liste

Okay, a bit of an update. Some good news and some bad...

The bad news is that I wasn't able to get a caster. So...I decided to take the plunge myself! Yes, with clear resin, which requires experienced hands etc etc, I know...

I asked around and with good advice from some very generous people(notably TROYBOY!!   ), acquired a pressure pot, mold rubber and clear resin and thoroughly read the book 'Popsculpture'. Whether by beginner's luck or otherwise, I was successful on my first try!




Now the rest of the bad news:
I don't know if its because its the UK or not, but urethane resin is considerably expensive over here.   
Added to that, Clear resin is FOUR times the cost of regular resin! Ymir is a BIG boy, and it all adds up.

I'm currently doing some research to find out if there are other options and I'll keep you posted. Right now, even with regular resin, one Ymir cast is coming in at around the price point of a Bowen pre-painted statue!
