Changeling Mini-Bust
Another collaboration with my fellow X-Men fan Izzy, this is Changeling, one of the very first (and often forgotten) recruits to the X-Men. Kevin Sydney, aka Changeling, started out as a member of the villain group Factor Three in X-Men #35 back in 1967. Seeking redemption due to facing a terminal illness, he took the form of Professor X and replaced him on the team (unbeknownst to the rest of the X-Men), until he was killed in battle. Many years later, a few alternative versions of Changeling would become much more popular under the name Morph, starting with the member of the Animated Series X-Men team who died in the first story. Versions of the character, with a drastically different look, would go on to become mainstays of the Age of Apocalypse X-Men and the Exiles.
