Brother Voodoo WIP

With the Puma sculpt completed, we have begun the Brother Voodoo bust. Here are some very early WIP pics.







Below is a picture of the type of base I am looking for. It's a rough sculpt of a Haitian drum. Don't worry - this IS NOT the sculptors work. This is just one I quickly put together for his reference.

Nice start, even if the face isn't yet definitive

Face will look better once I have it primed with an unified colour

Also when question wich raised out there , Should be a snake somewhere on him?

The sculptor is not Adil, but he his welcome to reveal himself if he chooses to do so:-) I won't know what the price will be until he's finished and I have a quote for the molds and castings.

As far as the snake - I would love one wrapped around his lowered arm. Between the pose, the drum and the snake I think all the "elements" of Brother Voodoo will be well represented.

I'm thinking about doing his hair a bit more "afro" , a bit more thick , .... opinions?

wouldn't go too nuts on the afro - it would date the piece more.

This has a good feel from his latest appearances but also does not feel like its a piece relgated to a specific time period

Yes!! we need more superheroes with afros.
